Where hair restoration begins.
PRP is the well established, entry level treatment for early pattern hair loss. It concentrates the growth factors in your own blood and delivers them to thinning areas by microneedling and superficial injection.
PRP session
Platelet rich plasma, from your own blood.
PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. A small amount of your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge, which separates out the plasma that is rich in platelets and growth factors, the same biological signals your body uses to heal.
That concentrated plasma is then delivered into the thinning areas of your scalp, where it works to support the follicles and encourage growth. Because it comes from you, there is nothing foreign involved.
We use the T-Lab system, independently ranked the number one PRP system in a comparative study at IMCAS 2025, because the quality of the preparation matters as much as the technique.
A natural question, honestly answered.
PRP is often the starting point, but it is not automatically the right one for everyone. Here is the plain difference, and we will always recommend the one that suits you, not the one that suits us.
An immediate burst
Prepared with an anticoagulant, PRP delivers its growth factors in an initial burst. It is well established, accessible, and a sensible entry point for early thinning.
Longer lasting
Processed with no additives, PRF releases its growth factors slowly over time, and the preparation can concentrate up to ten times the growth factors of PRP. It is our best value treatment and, for many presentations, the one we reach for.

You lie down for the whole treatment, downlights off, lamps and LED lighting low, nothing rushed. We allow 45 minutes so there is always time for your questions. Here is the full sequence, nothing hidden.
- 01 · Arrive
Check in and review
Come hydrated, with a clean, product free scalp. We confirm your history and check for anything that has changed since your consultation.
- 02 · Draw
A small blood draw
Two tubes, around 20ml, taken from your arm. If needles are not your favourite thing, this is the quickest part.
- 03 · Spin
Into the centrifuge
Your blood is spun in a T-Lab centrifuge, separating the platelet and growth factor rich plasma from the rest.
- 04 · Prep
Scalp preparation
The treatment area is cleansed with chlorhexidine antiseptic so we are working on a clean field.
- 05 · Needle
Microneedling with topical PRP
Fine microneedling over the treatment zones with PRP applied on top, creating thousands of microchannels that carry it toward the follicles. Most clients find this part very tolerable.
- 06 · Inject
Superficial scalp injections
Precise, shallow injections placed at the depth where your follicles live, supported by comfort tools throughout.
- 07 · Massage
Finishing scalp massage
A scalp massage to ease any lingering discomfort, support absorption and encourage blood flow. Then you are done, and back to your day.
No numbing cream. On purpose.
We do not apply numbing cream or anaesthetic injections, and that is a considered clinical decision, not a shortcut. There is evidence that local anaesthetics can interfere with platelet function and growth factor release, so keeping your treatment free of them protects the integrity of what your own blood is providing. It also keeps the treatment field clean and precise.
Here is the honest picture: the microneedling is very tolerable for most people, and the injections are brief moments of sharpness rather than sustained pain. Instead of numbing, we manage comfort properly.
