Scalp Series has been named ASCE+ Exosome Top Consultant for Victoria for the second quarter of 2026. For a studio in Hawthorn East run by one nurse, working one client at a time, that is a genuinely nice thing to receive. It also deserves some context, because an award means very little unless you know who gave it and what it was actually measuring.

What the award recognises

The award is presented by InMode, the Australian distributor of ASCE+ exosome technology. It assesses three things: the volume of ASCE+ exosome treatments a clinic performs, the clinical standards those treatments are delivered to, and the before and after photography submitted for review. Scalp Series ranked first in Victoria on those criteria for the quarter.

Why volume is still worth knowing

With that context in place, the volume part is genuinely useful information when you are choosing where to go. It tells you a practitioner works with this technology regularly rather than occasionally, across many different patterns and stages of hair loss. Familiarity is not the same as a guaranteed result, and it never will be, but it does mean the person treating you has seen a lot of scalps and knows how the protocol behaves in practice.

How exosome treatment works here

Exosome therapy is the treatment performed most often at Scalp Series. The exosomes are applied to the scalp following microneedling, where they support the environment around the follicle. They are used either on their own, or alongside PRF in our combination protocol.

Every exosome treatment follows the same structure. It begins with a complimentary consultation of around 45 minutes, including AI scalp analysis to establish your baseline. Treatment plans are built around your own pattern and stage of hair loss, your scalp is reviewed at every session, and structured photography is taken at sessions one and six under consistent lighting and angles, so change is measured rather than guessed at.

Part of a good clinical standard is being straightforward about who is a suitable candidate and who is not. Exosome therapy for hair is an emerging treatment, the published evidence for hair specifically is still developing, and individual results vary. If a scan suggests something simpler would serve you better, or that the honest answer is a referral to your GP, that is what you will hear.

Common questions

The award, answered

What was it based on?
Three criteria: the volume of ASCE+ exosome treatments performed over the quarter, the clinical standards those treatments are delivered to, and the before and after photography submitted for review. Scalp Series ranked first in Victoria on those criteria for the second quarter of 2026.
Does this mean exosome therapy will work for me?
No. Exosome therapy outcomes vary between individuals. Whether it suits you depends on your own pattern, stage and history, which is what the consultation and scan assess.
Do I need a referral to book?
No. You can book a complimentary consultation directly. If medical input or blood tests would be more useful first, we will tell you and guide you on that.

Start with a scan and an honest read.

If you are noticing thinning and want to know whether exosome therapy suits you, a consultation is the place to start. You will leave with a clear picture of your scalp, your options, and realistic expectations. The consultation is complimentary.
